Swimming pools
Eindhoven and the surrounding area have excellent swimming facilities. For example Zwemparadijs De Tongelreep, with its top sports swimming pool in which the latest facilities will be/were officially put into operation in spring 2006. The Tongelreep pool welcomes many thousands of visitors each year, not just from the region but also from Limburg and Flanders.
