Sights worth seeing

Eindhoven and the surrounding area have a number of landmarks that are well worth a visit. First of all, of course, there's the virtually world-renowned Evoluon with its characteristic ‘flying saucer' design. Flying Pins, at the end of the Kennedylaan, is a work of art by the famous American husband-and-wife artists Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen. Just as characteristic and picturesque are two well known water wheels: the Collse Watermolen and the Genneper Watermolen. And what about the Philips Tower of Light (‘Lichttoren')?.
