Employees from other countries who come to Eindhoven with their children don't need to worry about the availability of educational facilities. Eindhoven has two schools for international education: one for primary education (the Regional International School) and one for secondary education (the International Secondary School Eindhoven). Together they have more than 700 students.

The Regional International School (RIS) was founded in 1965 by Philips, but has operated independently since the 1970s. The RIS accepts children in the age group four to eleven. At present it is attended by around 500 children of more than 35 different nationalities. Teaching is in either English or Dutch. You can find more information on the school's website www.riseindhoven.nl, including the costs of registration, and you can also download a registration form on the site.
