Waste collection

All single-family homes in Eindhoven have two waste containers: a green one for fruit, vegetable and garden waste, and a grey one for residual waste. The containers are emptied in alternate weeks by putting them out on the street. Apartment buildings either have underground waste containers, or the waste is collected every two weeks in bags.
