City of the future
Het Eindhoven van 2010 zal er heel anders uitzien dan het Eindhoven van nu. Herontwikkeling, met behoud van het goede, is daarbij het sleutelwoord. Of het nu gaat om een voormalig Philipscomplex (Strijp S) of het opknappen van bestaande wijken, de stad ondergaat een ware metamorfose.
Strijp S
In the coming years the former Philips complex Strijp S will be transformed into an area with excellent residential, working and leisure facilities. A total of 1,600 new homes will be built, three quarters of them for sale. Space will also be provided for small scale business activities, while retaining the existing industrial architecture.
