You can expect a high quality level of cultural facilities in a city with a population of around 210,000. In the last fifteen years the city has made big investments in improving and extending the existing facilities. The result: a brand-new music center, a new ‘middenzaal' for the city's theater (‘Stadsschouwburg'), and a new podium for specific kinds of pop music. But of course you can also make your own music or (learn to) act.
Parktheater Eindhoven
The Stadsschouwburg Eindhoven theater has been renovated, and has a new name: the Parktheater Eindhoven. Around 300,000 visitors a year attend all kinds of productions such as theater, dance and ballet, opera, cabaret, musicals, youth theater and music.
