Going out
Eindhoven is an ideal city for people who like to go out. The Stratumseind, which is home to around seventy cafés and restaurants, is well known both near and far. But there are plenty of other places that you'll enjoy visiting elsewhere in Eindhoven. The Wilhelminaplein, De Bergen, the Markt, the Stationsplein and the Dommelstraat all attract many thousands of visitors each week.
Restaurants
Whatever your budget, you can find somewhere to eat to match your taste exactly in Eindhoven. There are two restaurants with a Michelin star: the Karpendonkse Hoeve, and Avant-Garde in the Philips Stadium. Particularly in the city center there are lots of restaurants with cuisine from just about every part of the world. From Japanese to Italians, and from Indonesian to Greek.
