Marathon
Many people regard the Eindhoven marathon as the friendliest in Europe. And all those who've ever reached the finish on the Stratumseind are cheered on so enthusiastically that they don't even notice the last few kilometers. In 2006 the marathon attracted 140,000 spectators. The winning time (2.08.18, Philip Singoei.) was good for the tenth place in the 2005 world rankings. http://www.marathoneindhoven.nl/en
