Stimulus
At the beginning of the 1990s the economy in the Eindhoven area was in deep trouble. The bankruptcy of the truck manufacturer DAF and major reorganizations at Philips were the cause of big problems. Help from ‘Brussels' offered a solution in the form of the Stimulus program. Carefully targeted investments put the Eindhoven region back on its feet again, with a lot of help from dynamic local businesses. The program is now completed, although the organization's current activities still include the Focus program.
