Design
Eindhoven = designers' city. An exaggeration? Not at all. The Design Academy is recognized worldwide as providing one of the leading design training programs. But that's not all. TU/e Industrial Design also makes a big contribution. And the redevelopment of the former NatLab (Philips Research Laboratories) is laying the basis for even more achievements in the design field.
Redevelopment of the NatLab
The former NatLab (Philips Research Laboratories) was initially intended to be demolished, but has now been preserved as an industrial heritage site. The NatLab will now house a large number of creative businesses and other small companies. The building is ideally suited for this purpose because of its size, location - in the new Strijp S Park - and the ambitious renovation plans.
