Eindhoven = designers' city. An exaggeration? Not at all. The Design Academy is recognized worldwide as providing one of the leading design training programs. But that's not all. TU/e Industrial Design also makes a big contribution. And the redevelopment of the former NatLab (Philips Research Laboratories) is laying the basis for even more achievements in the design field.

The Design Academy, located in the Witte Dame building, offers an internationally renowned HBO (higher vocational training) education for designers, divided into eight graduation specializations. 89 per cent of its students later find employment in the fields which they chose to study. The program was recognized by the authoritative trade magazine ICON as number 5 out of the 21 most significant individuals, products and institutes worldwide in the design field.
